Qualifications:
Must possess good work ethic.
Must possess or be able to obtain Black Seal License.
High school graduate.
Demonstrated knowledge in the safe use of mechanical equipment including:
tractor and take-off equipment; lawn mowers; field groomers, paint sprayers, air compressors, impact tools, etc.
and of basic hand tools including power tools:
saws, drills, grinders/sharpeners, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with equipment maintenance and repair regimens for large equipment and hand tools.
This includes oil and filter changes, blade sharpening, tire repairs/replacement, equipment overhaul, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and principles of construction and building repairs:
including painting and spackling, fence installations, ceiling tile replacement, sheet-rocking/spackling, etc.
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and principles of field, turf and shrubbery maintenance, athletic field setup and maintenance including initial layout, striping, grooming of fields, lawn maintenance, tree and shrub maintenance and pruning, application of fertilizer and weed control chemicals.
